for fine artists
We artists know that a good gallery is unobtrusive and designed with care to show our work in it’s best light. Seeing our art online is the next best thing, and as close as many people will come, to seeing it in person. Our online gallery should be as restrained and carefully designed as our in-real-life gallery. It must enhance our art and allow it to shine. After all, it’s our art, not the gallery that is the star of the show!
And just as art moves in and out of our gallery, it will move in and out of our website. Adding and removing pieces as our creative practice evolves, and our work sells, should be easy and stress-free.
Each of us has our own level of comfort with technology.
Some of us like the feeling of accomplishment we get from doing much of the website work on our own.
Some of us know we can do the website work, and so we will, because it is cost-effective.
Some of us prefer to spend as much time as possible making art and would rather let someone else take care of the technical website details.
Whether you prefer to do it all on your own or spend as little time as possible setting up and maintaining your site, I can help you. We can work together to figure out what will work best for your particular situation.
Work with you to find a solution that is the best fit for you.
I can help with:
finding a domain name (www.yourname.com)
After all, as artists, we often utilize the same physical gallery space and that doesn’t detract from the uniqueness of our art. Just because your site structure is similar to my site structure doesn’t mean our sites will impact the viewers in the same way. It’s our art that makes the difference.
